Bobby Martin contributed to the worlds king of pop's successful career. (Enjoy Yourself) was a big hit, yet there were other songs that started to climb way up to the top of the pop, soul, and r&b charts - like (Let Me Show You The Way To Go)! As pop music started turning digital, Bobby Martin started to spend more time with cares, mentoring others, and giving back to the community. I was never a crazy, screaming, uber-fan but I had all of his albums and his music identifies every stage of my life from when I was a little girl with my first Jackson 5 album until I was out of graduate school in the 90's. Say what you will about his scandals, but the man was one of the greatest talents of our lifetime.

His sudden passing stunned me and I was reminded that life is too short and we should never run from love, but towards it. We should not just say we love someone, which is easy to do, but show them with our actions. The last lesson I get from Michael's unexpected departure is one I am always reminded of when a young life ends, and that is that the greatest sin you can commit is to not pursue happiness.

Michael was a lonely soul who may have had fame and fortune, but few believe he was truly happy nor that he ever found love. Let his passing serve as an example to all of us to live life to the fullest and to show our loved ones just how much we love them, for we are lucky to have people we love and who love us.

Then it's off to a day of games, make-believe, delicious treats, and family time with the Baxter's. At bedtime, BOZ thanks God for such a wonderful world and friends who love him.
